See anything? Neither did we..... so this is "spotty fog".... for 7 hours....in our trip from Point Judith RI to Onset RI.
In addition to the fog, we had 5 ft swells (think of rolling seas, not breakers like you see at the beach). And let's not forget to look for lobster (yum...) pots.
Luke rigged up a foghorn for the boat. It's a requirement and a darn good one! This one is mounted on our mast. We can "sound the horn" every few minutes or as needed. We used it as we saw other boats on our radar. Here I am in my safety harness, holding the push-button for the for horn while looking for fog enshrouded lobster pots.
Poor Wickie -- he earned his little sailor suit today. About 1 hour after the rolling and foghorn blowing started, he bolted up the steps, into the cockpit, gurggled a pitiful cat scream, and looked for safety with his humans. He generally has little use for us... It took about an hour of trying different places with us in the cockpit, but he finally settled on his daddy's lap for a bit.
A little later, he gave up, found a place on the cockpit cushions to sleep, and slept for the next 6 hours. Must be great to be a cat. He didn't wake up until after we anchored, which generally involves some clanging and noises. NOW he's got his little sea-legs, he's set to go. I've removed him from the dinghy hanging off the back of the boat twice already. He doesn't belong there. Guess we'll have to be better about closing up the cockpit enclosure.
We are in Onset, RI for the next two nights. A little relaxation, visit the the town, buy some fresh fish, and maybe do a couple of little projects. It never ends...
The plan is to transit the Cape Cod canal on Thursday. Currents in the canal can be 4.5 to 5 knots either with or against us. With a reasonable boat cruising speed of about 7 kts, we really have to time it right. From the canal, we plan to sail to Provincetown, anchor there for the 4th, and leave again on the 5th.

Poor little Wickers :(
(not that the whole rolling seas/fog/lobster pot thing sounds like fun for humans either!)
