The central Oregon coast

Oh,oh,oh, the central Oregon coast is exactly as expected – cool (average high of 64, low of 54), fog that drifts about during the day, howling coastal wind, jagged coastline, and BEAUTIFUL!  We are in the Siuslaw National Forest, along the coast.  The pictures do the talking …..

 

 

 

 

 

 Today is Wednesday and we are headed for low water tide pools and the more northern coast area, like the historic town of Newport.
