We left the dock!

We didn't get too far, though, only a few hundred yards away.  Latitudes was in need of a few "out of the water" maintenance jobs, so we threw our lines and motored over to the nearest marina that could pull us out of the water.  And they did!

All in all, things looked pretty good on the hull.  Luke spent time scraping off barnacles and touching up some of the bottom paint.  I went after the "ICW mustache", the brown stripe along the water line.  This is from the tanic water of the Dismal Swamp.  A little "Iron Off" and elbow grease, and you get an amazing difference.

If nothing unusual happens tomorrow, we'll be back on that travel lift and back in the water!  Friday we'll set sail for the northern Chesapeake.
